Who we are

Crewyard LLC ("Crewyard", "we") makes software for small home-service businesses ("shops"): scheduling, quoting, invoicing, texting, and an assistant that answers calls and texts when the shop can't. This policy covers the Crewyard website and the Crewyard service.

Each shop decides how it uses Crewyard with its own customers and is responsible for its own customers' information. Crewyard hosts a privacy policy and text-message terms for each shop that chooses to use them; those pages describe what that shop does.

What we collect

From shops: the name, email address and phone number of the people who use the service, the shop's business details (legal name, address, website, and the tax identification number needed to register the shop for business texting with the carriers), the shop's price book, checklists and settings, and billing details. Card details for Crewyard's own fees and for the shop's customers are handled by Stripe; Crewyard never sees full card numbers.

On behalf of shops, about their customers: name, phone number, email address, the address where work is done, notes about the property, the work requested and performed, quotes, invoices and payment records, photos and video taken at the job, text and email conversations, and, when the shop turns on the assistant or voicemail, what was said on calls to the shop's number (transcripts and voicemail recordings).

From visitors to this website: what you type into the contact form, and ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting. We don't use advertising trackers.

How we use it

To provide the service: schedule and run jobs, build quotes and invoices, take payments, send the shop's texts and emails, answer the shop's calls when the shop asks us to, and show the shop its own records.

To run Crewyard: support, security, abuse prevention, billing, and the legal records we have to keep. We don't sell personal information and we don't use it for advertising.

Text messages

Crewyard sends text messages on behalf of shops, from each shop's own number, to customers who agreed to receive them: appointment reminders and confirmations, on-my-way notices, quotes, invoices with a payment link, follow-ups on open quotes and recommended work, review requests, and replies in a conversation the customer started. Message frequency varies with the customer's service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that shop, or HELP for help.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying anything. Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are shared only with the providers that deliver the messages (see below), and only to deliver them.

Calls and the assistant

When a shop turns on the assistant, calls to the shop's number that the shop doesn't answer may be answered by software that introduces itself as the shop's assistant, takes the caller's request, and may book an appointment. When a shop turns on voicemail, the caller's message is recorded and transcribed. In both cases what was said is stored for the shop so it can act on it. Callers can ask for a person at any time. The assistant doesn't quote prices and doesn't take card numbers.

Who we share it with

The providers that run parts of the service, each only for that purpose: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Twilio (text messages and calls), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Anthropic (the language model behind the assistant, which receives the conversation and the shop's facts needed to answer; it is not used to train models on your data under our agreement). We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or as part of a sale or merger of Crewyard, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Keeping and protecting it

Shop data is kept for as long as the shop uses Crewyard and for a reasonable period after, so the shop can export it; the shop can ask us to delete it sooner. Website contact-form messages are kept until answered and then for our records. Data is stored in the United States with access limited to the people and systems that need it, and encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers.

Your choices

If you are a shop's customer, the shop controls your information: ask the shop to see, correct or delete it, or to stop contacting you, and reply STOP to any text. If you are a shop user or a website visitor, contact us and we'll help. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the current version is always at this address, with the date below. Questions: reach us at the contact form at https://getcrewyard.com/contact. Last updated October 13, 2026.
